Our School

About Our School

Cold Spring School is a K-6 Environmental Studies magnet program. The school sits on 39 acres, which includes trails, a creek, a greenhouse and wetlands. The diversity of habitat and terrain on the campus offers a unique educational experience for instruction and enrichment, particularly in an urban setting. Environmental stewardship is an important component of our daily curriculum. Students take responsibility for the care and upkeep of the various gardens and green spaces around the campus. In addition to Visual Arts, Music and Physical Education and Media Skills, students also attend PLTW and a weekly Environmental Studies class.
